PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem rock welding method that enhances welding efficiency, that suppresses welding defects in a rocking end, and that makes stable lamination welding possible with an excellent bead shape. SOLUTION: For the purpose of making a molten pool be one pool by a preceding electrode and a succeeding electrode, a distance between a front electrode and a rear electrode in a welding direction between the electrodes and a distance between a right electrode and a left electrode in a groove width direction. The preceding electrode and the succeeding electrode are rocked with the same phase and the same amplitude in the groove width direction. Also, in accordance with the groove width or a front layer bead width, the rocking width and the distance between the right electrode and the left electrode are controlled to perform multi-layer welding.
