PURPOSE: A press die cushion device with a shock absorption function is provided to reduce shock caused by touching by obtaining enough preliminary acceleration and reducing load for preliminary acceleration. CONSTITUTION: A press die cushion device(100) with a shock absorption function comprises a cylinder(110), an ascending and descending control device(130), and a linear scale. The cylinder supports a press slide and a cushion pad(150) with fixed pressure. The ascending and descending control device supports the cushion pad with the cylinder. The linear scale feedbacks measured location to the ascending and descending control device. The cylinder is composed of low pressure and high pressure cylinders(111,112).
