PURPOSE: A system and a method for estimating the position of a ship block are provided to efficiently estimate the position of a ship block by integrating an image sensor, a piezoelectric sensor, a GPS(Global Positioning System), and a DMI(Distance Measurement Integrator). CONSTITUTION: A system for estimating the position of a ship block comprises an image sensor(120), a piezoelectric sensor(140), a navigation sensor(160), and a position measurement server(200). The image sensor obtains an image of the assembly block for a ship. The piezoelectric sensor is installed in a transporter(100) and generates piezoelectric sensor information when pressure is applied from the assembly block for a ship which is loaded in the transporter. The navigation sensor obtains distance information and location information from the transporter. |
