PURPOSE: A multiband antenna apparatus is provided to enhance the electromagnetic separation function between antenna elements by operating the antenna elements side by side in a plurality of communication modes. CONSTITUTION: A first antenna element(130) contacts a feeding unit(150). The first antenna element resonates at a first frequency band in a first communication mode. A second antenna element(140) resonates at the first frequency band in the first communication mode. A first switch element(160) is arranged between the first antenna element and the second antenna element. The first switch element separates the first antenna element and the second antenna element in the first communication mode. The first switch element combines the first antenna element and the second antenna element in the second communication mode. A second switch element(170) is arranged between the feeding unit and the second antenna element.
