<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply configured fire detector capable of eliminating any influence from humidity and corresponding to various humidity situations without it needs a dehumidifier or a complicated mechanism such as ejection of a condensed water droplet, in the fire detector for sensing the occurrence of a fire. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fire detector is provided with: a fire detecting sensor 3 for sensing the occurrence factor of a fire; a humidity sensor 7 for measuring the humidity of an environment; and a control part 8 for automatically switching and adjusting the sensitivity of the fire detecting sensor 3 according to the humidity measured by the humidity sensor 7.
