<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a liquid jet head and to suppress cross talk. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the liquid jet head 2 including: a head chip 21 by which a liquid supplied into channel 35 through a liquid inlet 31a is discharged from a nozzle hole 33a; and a damper member 22 which absorbs a pressure change of a liquid supplied to the head chip 21, wherein the damper member 22 is provided with: an inlet 50 into which a liquid flows; a pressure change absorbing chamber 51 which stores the liquid supplied through the inlet 50, and part of the wall of which is deformable according to a change in internal pressure; and an outlet 52 which is directly connected to the liquid inlet 31a and by which the liquid caused to flow out from the pressure change absorbing chamber 51 is supplied to the liquid inlet 31a.
