<p>The apparatus for generating power using tidal energy according to the present invention includes a booster and a generator, and is installed at the line of buoyancy. The tidal power generation apparatus comprises a cylinder extending from the surface of the water, at the line of buoyancy, to a preset depth. The cylinder comprises: a variable cover which is capable of opening and closing in both directions according to the flow of water; a rotation shaft; and a rotation blade unit; wherein, the rotation blade unit rotates around the rotation shaft. Therefore, the tidal power generation apparatus is able to improve the efficiency of generating electricity from tidal power.</p> |
