<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new selenosulfide compound exhibiting both excellent antineoplastic activity and anti-mutagenicity. <P>SOLUTION: The selenodisulfide compound is represented by general formula: R<SB>x</SB>-(Se)<SB>n</SB>-R<SB>y</SB>(wherein, (Se)<SB>n</SB>is a straight-chain bond consisting of n selenium atoms; n is an integer of 2-4; and R<SB>x</SB>and R<SB>y</SB>are each same as or different from each other, having thiol groups(-SHs) which are bound to each end of the straight-chain bond consisting of the n selenium atoms). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
