Provided are an electromagnetic wave shielding material and a method for manufacturing same, the electromagnetic wave shielding material comprising a transparent substrate and a convex pattern layer produced from a conductive composition formed in a predetermined pattern on the transparent substrate, wherein the conductive composition is configured to include conductive particles and a binder resin, and in observation using the electron micrograph of the traverse section of the convex pattern layer, the convex pattern layer comprises a continuous portion formed by fusion of at least some of the conductive particles. The electromagnetic wave shielding material and the method for manufacturing the same comprise a configuration capable of achieving lower surface resistivity in the electromagnetic wave shielding material which requires a further reduction in the line width of the pattern, more specifically, a reduction to a line width of 30 µm or less, more preferably, less than or equal to 15-20 µm, and a treatment method for reducing the surface resistivity by easy and short-time treatment. |
