<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device less consuming a power and a window regulator. <P>SOLUTION: This window regulator for lifting a window pane includes a drive mechanism D which includes a first motor 35 and a second motor 37 and serves as a drive source for lifting the window pane and a control means for controlling the motors 35, 37 of the drive mechanism D. When lifting the window pane through the drive mechanism D, the control means drives the first motor 35 and the second motor 37 when the window pane is started to move and immediately before the window pane is fully closed.
