PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic which is excellent in a setting property and a hair-redressing property and little gives stickiness and stiffness. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic which is mistily sprayed and used, contains the following components (A) and (B), and further contains the component (C) and/or the component (D), or does not contain both the components (C) and (D), wherein the mass ratio (C)/(B) of the content of the component (C) to the content of the component (B) is 0 to 1; the mass ratio (D)/(A) of the content of the component (D) to the content of the component (A) is 0 to 0.2; the mass ratio [(B)+(C)]/(A) of the total content of the components (B) and (C) to the content of the component (A) is 0.8 to 3. (A) A vinylic anionic polymer for hair setting, (B) a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether or a polyoxyalkylene hydrogenated caster oil which is liquid at 30°C, (C) a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether or a polyoxyalkylene hydrogenated castor oil which is solid at 30°C, and (D) a monohydric 14 to 20C aliphatic branched alcohol.
