FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: two-step multi-purpose gate is installed in case of valve. Both steps of the gate are joined with a drive, are made multi-purpose and are arranged parallel to each other. Each step corresponds to a multi-purpose plunger with apertures and sealing surface. The plunger is installed in a seat made as a perforated bushing with openings and a sealing element. The seat and the second step of the gate are turned at 180 degrees; also the latter can travel towards the first step of the gate. The multi-purpose plunger of the first step from the side of the drive is connected to a rod, while the multi-purpose plunger of the second step is connected with an additional rod. The drive is made with a slot and corresponds to a spindle whereon there are two threaded sections: left-hand thread on an upper section and right- hand thread on a lower section. Both threaded sections are joined with response threads facilitating simultaneous transfer of both steps of the gate into an opposite direction and synchronous opening of two seats of the gate. The rod is fixed on response thread which is connected with left-hand thread in the upper part of the spindle, while the additional rod is connected with response thread joined with right-hand thread on the lower part of the spindle; also pitch of both threads is identical. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability and service life of valve operation. ^ 1 dwg |
