<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display with a touch panel of capacitance coupling type and a method for manufacturing the same, which saves a photolithography process dedicated for processing a metallic film and use a photolithography process for processing a transparent conductive film to serve for both in manufacturing the touch panel, thereby reducing the number of processes and manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: On a substrate (e.g., glass substrate), a transparent conductive film for X electrode and Y electrode, and a metallic film are continuously formed. While the metallic film is formed, the substrate is covered with a metallic sheet or the like with a portion scheduled to form peripheral wiring therein cleared, and a metallic film is formed only in a wiring forming portion. On the substrate with a laminated film formed thereon, a phtoresist film is formed in a pattern of peripheral wiring, the X electrode, and the Y electrode. Then, the metallic film is selectively etched, and subsequently, the transparent conductive film is selectively etched. As the metallic film is not formed in a display portion, with only one photolithography process using the pattern of the transparent conductive film, the metallic film and the transparent conductive film can be processed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
