The present invention relates to an automatic boarding process device and method. The automatic boarding process method includes a reading stage where a traveler's information is read from the traveler's passport; a 1st determining stage on whether the traveler is a valid passenger based on the information read from the reading stage; an acquisition stage where bioinformation is acquired from the traveler if the traveler is determined as being a valid passenger; and a 2nd determining stage on whether the traveler is the person named in the passport using said bioinformation. Thus, airport personnel are freed to perform other tasks since the traveler boarding process is carried out automatically.
