<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer and its reaction vessel cleaning method capable of changing a cleaning level of the reaction vessel corresponding to the height of analysis sensitivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer 1 includes a cleaning device for cleaning the reaction vessels after analyzing a reaction liquid, after reacting a liquid sample including a specimen and a reagent in a plurality of reaction vessels 6 held on a cuvette wheel 5. The reaction vessel cleaning method thereof is also provided. The plurality of reaction vessels 6 are arranged on upper and lower two stages on the cuvette wheel 5, and the automatic analyzer 1 also includes replacing parts 17, 21 for rotating and replacing two reaction vessels on the upper and lower two stages in the vertical direction as a pair on at least two spots near the cuvette wheel.
