PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to implement a voice mailing function by transmitting a message file to a server after processing a voice and an image in message file. CONSTITUTION: A control unit outputs a broadcasting signal through an output unit(S111), and a user inputs a voice and an image through an input unit(S113). The control unit process the voice and the image as a message file(S117), and the user accesses a server(S119). The user selects a target receiver from an inputted address book(S121), and the control unit transmits the message file to the server(S123).
