PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fold printed webs after they are cut and superposed. SOLUTION: A folding machine for folding the printed webs W after they are cut and superposed includes: a cutting device 7 for cutting the web W to a sheet S of predetermined length; a superposing device 8 for making the sheet S to a group of sheets S' superposed with previously set predetermined number of sheets while positioning end parts of the sheets S cut by the cutting device 7; a conveying device 9 for conveying the group of sheets S' superposed by the superposing device 8; and a folding device 10 for collectively receiving the group of sheets S' conveyed by the conveying device 9 and folding them.
