PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece which can be assembled, by aligning the direction of lid indication of a back lid in a twelve o'clock-to-six o'clock direction of the wristwatch, without requiring alignment correction work of the back lid. SOLUTION: It is assumed that the wristwatch 11, in which the back lid 31 screwed to a body 15 includes the lid indication. The body 15 includes a lid attachment part 17. A lid-receiving part includes a screw thread 18 and a lid-receiving surface 19 on the side of an inner part 15a of the body 15 from the screw thread 18. The back lid 31 includes a lid plate 32, overlaid on the lid-receiving surface 19 and a pressing ring 36. The lid plate 32 includes an annular protruding part 33 at the circumferential surface and includes the lid indication on the front surface. The pressing ring 36 includes a screw thread 37 screwed to the screw thread 18. The pressing ring 36 is attached to the lid attachment part 17 by the screwing of both the screw threads, and the lid plate 32 is fixed, by holding the annular protruding part 33 between the ring 36 and the lid-receiving surface 19. The lid attachment part 17 is provided with a detent part 23. An engaging part 34, engaged with the detent part 23, is provided at the lid plate 32. The lid indication is provided so that the lid indication is aligned with the twelve o'clock-to-six o'clock direction of a time indication part, in a state in which the engagement part 34 is engaged with the detent part 23.
