PURPOSE: An Ethernet bridge conformance device is provided to additional subdivide and manages the protocol information of a network-layer and the protocol information of a transmission layer. CONSTITUTION: A backbone instance layer matching device performs a masking operation with respect to a local member backbone service instance, which is transmitted from scalable backbone sub-Ethernet conformance devices(10, 40), and a flow backbone service instance which is transmitted from a local provider backbone service instance and flow based packet processing devices(50, 60). Backbone Ethernet conformance devices(20, 30) converts an I-tag Ethernet frame to a B-tag Ethernet frame.
