FIELD: oil-and-gas industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-and-gas industry, namely to smooth-end-pipes tripping. Pipe tripping tool comprises elevator, pipe pinchers and coupling device. Note here that said coupling device represents two-stage semi-rings with handles pivoted together with their free ends locked in closed state. Note also that lower stage can be fitted on pipe coupler end while upper stage represents detachable elements with their inner surface representing a funnel coated with wear resistant material.
