A method of making a linear heater includes the following steps. Firstly, a linear supporter is provided. Secondly, a carbon nanotube structure is made. Thirdly, the carbon nanotube structure is attached on a surface of the linear supporter. Finally, at least two electrodes are provided and electrically connected to the carbon nanotube structure.
