PURPOSE: A control system for a vehicle is provided to control a body control device through a gateway without changing of existing control device. CONSTITUTION: A control system for a vehicle comprises a key input part(14), a multimedia CAN(Controller Area Network) communications part(16), and a gateway(20). The key input part receives an operation mode selecting signal, from a plurality of action modes of a specific body controller(1). The multimedia CAN communication part transmits the operation mode selecting signal to the body controller. The multimedia communication part receives and indicates the change confirmation signal through a gateway from the body controller. The gateway receives the operation mode selecting signal and change confirmation signal from the multimedia communication part.
