PROCESSOR SELECTION FOR AN INTERRUPT IDENTIFYING A PROCESSOR CLUSTER

PURPOSE: A device and a system for selecting a processor about interrupt distinguishing processor cluster are provided to reduce power consumption because whether interrupts are appointed to processors does not need to be determined. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of processor packages comprises clusters of processors. An IOH(Input Output Hub)(12) is connected to a plurality of processor packages through interconnections. The IOH comprises a processor selection logic(20) receiving logical destination identification numbers related to the interrupts. The Interrupts have a processor cluster identification number for distinguish a cluster of directed processors appointed the interrupts.
