PURPOSE: A coupling device for plastic pipe and a connection method is provided to maintain the connection part between a resin pipe and a connection pipe by deforming a contact ring between an incision ring and a bracket using the pressure of fluid. CONSTITUTION: A coupling device for plastic pipe comprises a hollow joint pipe(110), an incision ring(120), a cohesive ring(130), annular support bracket(140), a bolt(150), and a screwnut(160). A sill(111) is formed along the outer circumference of one end of the hollow joint pipe in order to interlink a first synthetic resin conduit(1). A second synthetic resin conduit(1') is connected to the other end of the hollow joint pipe. The incision ring is inserted into an insertion groove(1a) of the outer circumference of the first synthesis resin pipe. The cohesive ring is supported in the incision ring and is inserted in the outer circumference of the first synthetic resin conduit. The cohesive ring is touched with the inner circumference of one end of the hollow joint pipe. The support bracket is located the opposite side of the incision ring and supports the cohesive ring. The one end of the bolt is connected with the projection unit and the other end of the bolt is inserted into the bolt hole(141) of the support bracket.
