PURPOSE: A control method for loading a billet into a furnace is provided to increase the number of billets loaded inside a furnace by reducing the time to load the billet inside the furnace. CONSTITUTION: A control method for loading a billet into a furnace comprises following steps. A loading door of the furnace is opened before a billet weight detection process is completed. When the billet weight detection process is completed and the loading door is completely opened, the billet is loaded inside the furnace. When the billet is loaded inside the furnace, the billet is transferred through a walking system simultaneously with the closing of the loading door. |
