PURPOSE: An explosion pressure reducing and scattering fragment blocking apparatus is provided to reduce the bursting pressure of a pressurant tank during a performance and safety test for the pressurant tank. CONSTITUTION: An explosion pressure reducing and scattering fragment blocking apparatus includes a plurality of damping members(300) and a connection wire(400). The damping members attenuate explosion pressure and comprises a cylinder(310) containing a fluid and an attenuating plate(320) which has a diameter corresponding to the cylinder to be installed inside the cylinder. The connection wire connects the damping members. The attenuating plate of the damping member has one or more orifices(321) connected to the connection wire.
