摘要 PURPOSE: An intake air system monitoring method of a diesel engine is provided to output a fault code by deciding the malfunction on parts or exposed parts. CONSTITUTION: An intake air system monitoring method of a diesel engine comprises: a step of detecting the operating information including the car speed, the engine RPM and accelerating pedal displacement(S110); a step of deciding whether the intake air system monitoring condition is satisfied or not(S120); a step of diagnose whether an actuator solenoid valve controlling a turbocharger vein angle, a boost pressure sensor, a turbocharger, an intercooler, an intercooler backward and forward end intake air system have problems or not, by analyzing boost pressure, if the monitoring condition is satisfied; a step of controlling the turbocharger vein angle diagnose whether the intercooler, the intercooler backward and forward end intake air system have problems or not by analyzing the actuator control signal; a step of diagnosing whether an EGR valve, an air flow sensor, a turbine of turbocharger and an exhaust manifold is leaked or not, and a turbocharger compressor and an air flow sensor is leaked or not by analyzing the air volume inhaled to the engine; and a step of diagnosing whether the turbocharger turbine and of the pipe connection between the exhaust manifold is leaked or not, and the intake part between the turbocharger compressors is leaked or not in the air flow sensor by analyzing the EGR control signal.
