PURPOSE: A method and a system of adaptive resource management in a future internet environment are provided to select resources which characteristic is desired among a various resources on an internet and effectively select a resource of optimum performance among selected resources, thereby effectively assigning resources satisfies a various requirements on the future internet environment. CONSTITUTION: A collecting unit(121) collects resource state information on an internet. A collecting unit quantifies a user requirement, service properties and information of resource performance. A optimal resource selector(122) assigns resources optimized through resource management algorithm based on the collected information. A optima resource allocator(123) connects the selected resources. The optimal resources allocator actually assigns the resources to a user.
