PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter configured by transferring a functional ink composition onto a base material to form a functional ink layer pattern and a printed matter configured by forming a metal layer on the transferred functional ink layer, generating no deficiencies such as disconnection, defective shape and low adhesiveness, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The printed matter 70 includes at least the base material 71, a primer layer 72 formed on the base material 71 and the functional ink layer 73 formed on the primer layer 72 with a predetermined pattern. A thickness TAof a part A of the primer layer 72 on which the functional ink layer 73 is formed is thicker than a thickness TBof a part B on which the functional ink layer 73 is not formed.
