PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure accuracy of a three-dimensional model to be registered. SOLUTION: Coordinate transformation is performed so that information a between three-dimensional information a, b, c restored by measuring an actual model of a workpiece which is an object for three-dimensional recognition from each different direction is used as a reference, and each other three-dimensional information b, c is aligned to the reference three-dimensional information, and three-dimensional information d including wholly the transformed three-dimensional information b', c' and the reference three-dimensional information a is generated. The three-dimensional information d is registered temporarily as a three-dimensional model. On the other hand, the amount of difference between the integrated three-dimensional information a, b', c' is calculated, and an evaluation index based on the amount of difference is displayed together with an image figure of a contour pattern shown by the three-dimensional model. A user confirms accuracy of the three-dimensional model from a dispersion degree of a contour line showing the same portion or a value of the evaluation index on a display screen, and determines whether the three-dimensional model d is to be actually registered or not.
