<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing apparatus and method using high pressure steam, and more specifically, to provide a sterilizing method using the apparatus inserted into the cold-warm water passage of a water cooling/warming device, the purified water passage of a water purifier, the discharge pipe of a beverage bending machine, the air suction unit of a cooler and so on to inject high pressure steam for sterilization. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sterilization method using high pressure steam includes: (a) a step of inserting a bar-like nozzle into any of the cold-warm water passage of the water cooling/warming device, the purified water passage of the water purifier, the discharge pipe of a beverage bending machine, and the air suction unit of a cooler; and (b) a step of feeding high pressure steam using an injecting member to inject the high pressure steam via the nozzle for sterilization.
