<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful ink jet print head with a thin nozzle plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ink jet print head includes: a substrate; a plurality of chambers formed on the substrate in which each chamber is formed with a space surrounded by a plurality of walls erected on the substrate and the nozzle plate formed by a chemical vapor deposition method on the plurality of walls and a thickness thicker than 10 μm, and is provided with a nozzle formed passing through the nozzle plate; and a plurality of heater elements wherein at least one heater element is disposed in each chamber among the plurality of heater elements. In the ink jet print head, each heater element heats ink to a temperature above the boiling point of the ink in each chamber to form a gas bubble in each chamber, thereby ejecting the ink through the nozzle.
