PURPOSE: A lateral nozzle hair dryer is provided, which minimizes the interval of a nozzle and a grip portion and increases the convenience of use. CONSTITUTION: A lateral nozzle hair dryer comprises: a blower section generating air current; a discharge unit(20) which heats air current generated from the blower section and discharges the air current outside; a nozzle(10) which emits the air current of the discharge unit outside in a necessary form; and a joint which is formed in one side end of the nozzle and is formed in order to be detachable from the discharge unit.
