PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deodorize oily smoke and smell components, reduce energy loss and achieve comfortable environment by making air in a heating chamber pass through a smell removing means even when an object to be cooked generating oily smoke and strong smell components is heated. SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes: the heating chamber 3; a upper face heating means 4; a deodorization device 8 for decomposing high-temperature oily smoke and smell components generated from the object 2 to be cooked; a heating chamber exhaust port 6 for discharging air including the oily smoke and smell components within the heating chamber 3; an exhaust passage 7; a duct 9 for returning part of air passing through the exhaust passage 7 to inside of the heating chamber 3; and a heating chamber suction port 16. Part of exhaust air becomes clean air without discharging oily smoke and smell to outside of the chamber and is discharged from a body exhaust port 10 to outside, and part is returned from the heating chamber suction port 16 to the heating chamber 3 via the duct 9 so as to return part of the high-temperature air again to inside of the heating chamber 3. Thus, such constitution reduces discharge of hot air to outside of the chamber and reduces energy loss when the temperature within the heating chamber 3 is maintained, so as to make the environment more comfortable.
