<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage medium on and from which digital moving image information is recordable and reproducible, and to provide an information reproducing method, and information recording method, and an information reproducing device using the information storage medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the information storage medium, the same place in a video object is redundantly reproducible between different cells in different PGCs, cell time information and PGC information belong to control information, information regarding time required for cell reproduction is included in the control information, information regarding the required time is included in an area different from a time code table, information as to whether the video object has been compressed by MPEG (Moving Picture Expert Group) 2 is included in the cell time information, the cell time information includes information regarding the number of specific units, information regarding a sampling frequency of an audio signal is included in the cell time information, the time code table includes information regarding a specific unit, and the information as to whether the video object has been compressed by MPEG2 and the information regarding the sampling frequency are included in an area different from that of the information regarding the number of specific units.
