<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly perform special reproduction such as fast feed and fast return by a simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An address position information table 12 stores an entry number and a head position address of a frame information table 13 by making them associated with a frame number. A signal reproduction section 20 refers to the address position information table 12 at a special reproduction period, and creates a reproduction signal by obtaining the frame information from the frame information table 13 when the frame information of the frame number indicated in special reproduction is stored in the frame information table 13.
