<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom unit effectively using a useless space above the bathroom unit, and a building provided with the bathroom unit. <P>SOLUTION: A building unit 20 constituting the building includes a building unit 20a for bathroom 16, and the building unit 20a includes the bathroom unit 30. The bathroom unit 30 includes a wall panel 31 for surrounding four sides, a floor plate 32, a bathtub 33, and a ceiling member 35 disposed at an upper end portion of the wall panel 31. The ceiling member 35 is vertically movable relative to the wall panel 31. A fixing plate 41 having a plurality of vertical through-holes 41a is provided on the outside surface of the wall panel 31.
