<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply apparatus capable of rapidly switching the output voltage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power supply apparatus is equipped with a boosting DC-DC converter and a charge-collecting circuit. The boosting DC-DC converter performs boosting conversion to an input voltage, to generate an output voltage and to regulate the level of the output voltage on the basis of level-regulating signal. The charge-collecting circuit is electrically connected to the boosting DC-DC converter, forms a current channel, on the basis of the level-regulating signal, collects an extra charge through the current channel, when the output voltage is regulated from a high level to a low level, discharges an accumulated energy via the current channel when the output voltage is regulated from the low level to the high level, and thus accelerates the level-regulating speed of the output voltage to reduce energy consumption.
