PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air shower device having a function of cycle operation necessary for keeping cleanliness at low costs, even without using expensive components. SOLUTION: When a person 9 entering or leaving a room, enters an air shower room, fans 1, 2 are operated, and a switch damper 6 is opened by wind pressure from the fan 2 due to the operation of the fan 2. The clean air having passed through filters 3, 4 are applied to the person 9 entering or leaving the room, at a high wind velocity 7 from a number of air jet nozzles 5 disposed on side walls on both sides and a ceiling wall to blow off dust attached to clothes of the person 9 entering or leaving the room, and the blown-off dust is captured by a prefilter 8. After the lapse of a prescribed time, the switch damper 6 is closed by its self-weight, when the fan 2 is stopped and the wind pressure does not exist. After the person 9 leaves the room, only the fan 1 is operated, and the air is blown off into the air shower room from the air jet nozzles 5 at a very low wind velocity 10.
