PURPOSE: A control system for a vehicle warning lamp is provided to prevent a driver from misunderstanding by controlling the lighting of a specific warning lamp if there is an ISG(Idle Stop and Go) state. CONSTITUTION: A control system for a vehicle warning lamp comprises an engine control unit(100) and a dashboard(200). The engine control unit decides whether to be an ISG(Idle Stop and Go) state and performs the engine control, using the vehicle information. The dashboard controls the lighting of the warning lamp using the engine-off information and the warning lamp related information received from the engine control unit. The dashboard prevents the lighting of the engine oil warning lamp and the battery warning lamp, if the engine is off in the ISG state. The dashboard includes an engine off warning lamp(210), a battery warning lamp(220), an engine oil warning lamp(230), a switch(240), and a controller(250). The engine off warning lamp is lighted when the engine is off under the controlling of the controller.
