Composition (Q) comprises at least one pyrimidine compound of formula (I) or its N-oxide or salt; and at least one safener, which is e.g. a compound from heterocyclic carboxylic acid derivative comprising 1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(1,1-dimethyl-ethyl)pyrazol-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester, an active agent from dichloroacetamide comprising 3-dichloroacetyl-2,2,5-trimethyl-1,3-oxazolidine), an active agent from the class of 1,2-dihydroquinoxalin-2-one comprising 1-methyl-3-(2-thienyl)-1,2-dihydroquinoxalin-2-one, a compound from the class of diphenylmethoxyacetic acid derivative comprising diphenylmethoxyacetic acid methyl ester, an active agent from the class of -(5-tetrazolylcarbonyl)-2-quinolone comprising 1,2-dihydro-4-hydroxy-1-ethyl-3-(5-tetrazolylcarbonyl)-2-quinolone, an active agent from oxyimino compounds comprising oxabetrinil, an active agent from the class of isothiochromanone comprising methyl-[(3-oxo-1H-2-benzothiopyran-4(3H)-yliden)methoxy]acetate, at least one compound from naphthalic anhydride or fenclorim, or an active agent having safener activity in addition to herbicidal effect against weed for culture plant i.e. rice comprising dimepiperate.
