Process for artificially coloring of the skin comprises applying a composition comprising at least one carotene, at least one xanthophyll compound, and at least one lipophilic green colorant, in a medium. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composition comprising at least one lipophilic colorant mixture in the medium; and (2) a lipophilic colorant mixture comprising at least one carotene, astaxanthin, and at least one lipophilic green colorant.
