A digital photograph display device (DPDD) comprising a screen, a clock controlling a time elapsed display showing an accumulating time interval or a reducing time interval (count-up and countdown timer modes), wherein a switch starts the timer, but once activated there is no means to stop the timer. The digital photo frame may also comprise a slide show mode, audio and video playback, a smart wireless energy sensor, a digital TV tuner, a built-in weather station, calendar functions, a personal alarm clock, automatic picture orientation, split-screen functionality, a remote control, a docking station and wireless Bluetooth and internet connectivity via a mini USB connection. The count-up timer is designed to be started on a key date such as your wedding day or the day of the birth of your child, with a clock function that displays the time elapsed since activation, alongside related photos. There is no reset button which is designed to enhance a human relationship.
