PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual package of an absorbent article which can be compactly folded, suppresses folded marks remaining when unpackaging and developing the same, has stand up gather shapes of the side parts being hardly collapsed, and can properly maintain a three-dimensional shape of an absorber and its peripheral members. SOLUTION: The absorber 1 has a front middle highly absorbent part 1a and a back middle highly absorbent part 1b formed to be raised to skin contact face side, a rigid area 9 arranged in the absorber part between both the middle highly absorbent parts. The rigid area 9 is constituted of a plurality of pressed marks formed by pressing and bonding the surface sheet and the absorber. Some of the plurality of pressed marks are necessarily present on a line when the line is drawn passing through the rigid area in a width direction.
