<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle device for a railway vehicle where fretting wear hardly occurs on the end face of an inner ring and on the end face of a positioning member which abuts on the end face of the inner ring. <P>SOLUTION: Between the end face on the wheel side of a second inner ring 7 of a double-row cylindrical roller bearing 2 arranged on an axle 1 of the railway vehicle and the end face on the side of the second inner ring 7 of a rear cover 3 which is arranged on the axle 1 and located on the wheel side of the second inner ring 7, a plurality of stainless shims 50 are arranged which are held between the two end faces and overlapped with one another in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
