<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print images while surely aligning their directions upon photographing through simple operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a function for printing image data items to be printed while arranging them side by side on one paper sheet. On such a preview display screen, when specific image data 11a are selected from a plurality of image data items through user operation, the image data 11a is distinguishably displayed. Image data 11b, 11c having the same photographing direction as the image data 11a are then retrieved and display is changed similarly. In the case where image rotation is selected by a dialog 14 herein, the directions of the image data 11a, 11b, 11c are collectively rotated by 180°.
