<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide engine support structure improving sealing performance of matching faces of an engine body and an engine cover by a means other than the fastening force of a fastener such as bolts with respect to the structure in which a mount bracket is fastened to the engine cover such as a chain cover and an engine is supported by a vehicle body utilizing the mount bracket. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The matching faces of a timing chain cover 10 and the engine side mount bracket 2 are formed with inclined faces 22b, 23b, 24b, 10g, 10h, 10i inclining toward the engine 1 downward. A component of the gravitational force applied to the engine 1 acts in the approximately horizontal direction, and its reaction force acts as a force pressing the chain cover 10 toward the engine 1 side.
