<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reduction in the amount of energy to be absorbed by a rear side member or a bumper stay when a bumper reinforcement of another vehicle collides with the whole face of a bumper reinforcement of one's own vehicle while crushing the lower part of the rear side member or the bumper stay almost equally to the upper part thereof without reducing the strength of the rear end lower part of the rear side member or the lower part of the bumper stay when the bumper reinforcement of the other vehicle interferes and collides with the upper end of the bumper reinforcement of the own vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bumper reinforcement is mounted at the rear end of the rear side member 1 via the bumper stay 5. The upper end of a towing hook 13 is rotatably connected to a cross member 11 above the rear side member 1 with a bolt 17, and the lower end of the towing hook 13 is connected and fixed to a lower face 1c of the rear side member 1. The towing hook 13 is inclined at its site corresponding to the rear side member 1 in the vertical direction so that its upper part is located more rearward of the vehicle that its lower part.
