<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and surely perform drain treatment by properly controlling the timing of stopping a drain pump. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water treatment device includes: a rainwater storage tank 2 storing rainwater; a drain pump 11 provided in the rainwater storage tank 2 and draining stored rainwater to a drain treatment plant; and a control unit 20 controlling the driving of the drain pump 11. During the driving of the drain pump 11, the control unit 20 obatians its driving current A (S17), and it stops the drain pump 11 at the point of time when the driving current A reduces to a beforehand set prescribed value (A0×α) or below (S18, S22).
