TECHNIQUE FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF AORTAL-ILIOFEMORAL SEGMENT IN SETTING OF INFECTED FEMORAL WOUND

摘要

A technique for the reconstruction of aortal-iliofemoral segment in the setting of the infected femoral wound comprises the separation of aortoiliac segment, the proximal anastomosis between aorta (iliac arteries) and the novel allogenic bypass. Upon removal of the infected allogenic bypass and the surgical sanitization of the wound, the novel allogenic bypass is placed in the same way followed by reconstruction of the wound with the femoral muscle.
